I had an amazing time last night! In fact I ended up dancing on stage with Mahala Rai Banda, who were absolutely brilliant. When I got down I went to dance in the aisle with the girl sitting next to me and we were suddenly dancing right next to Eugene Hutz! (and his girlfriend...grrr :( ) What an awesome night!

The Gogol Bordello gig last night was amazing! My ears are ringing, my legs ache and I have bruises...all very much worth it :D As usual the tallest man in the place stood right in front of me just as the set was starting. That always happens! I spent money on books and DVDs today. Yay! Jim's friend lent us the first couple of Flashman books, which I'm reading at the moment, but now I also have some PG Wodehouse and a book set on the Necropolis Railway in 1903.

I had a lovely weekend learning about beekeeping with the Wimbledon Beekeepers Association. It was so interesting, especially when we got to open up the hives and see them all at work and the different brood cells and trying to spot the queen!
